Position Overview
We are seeking a Workforce Management (WFM) System Specialist to manage, optimize, and support our time & attendance and workforce planning systems. This role ensures accurate data capture, compliance with Mexican & USA labor law, and efficient integration with payroll, HR, and ERP systems. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of WFM software, excellent analytical skills, and hands‑on experience in manufacturing environments with shift operations.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Support
- Administer and maintain workforce management systems (e.g., ISGUS ZEUS, ATOSS, ZMI, or similar).
- Configure system rules (working hours, shifts, overtime, collective agreements, union contracts).
- Manage user access, permissions, and system security.
- Provide 1st and 2nd level support to HR, managers, and employees.
Data Accuracy & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor law, EU working time regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor time & attendance data to ensure accuracy (absences, overtime, holiday entitlements).
- Generate reports for HR, payroll, and management.
Process Optimization
- Analyze workforce data to identify trends and optimize shift planning and staffing.
- Collaborate with HR and Operations to improve workflows.
- Drive automation and digitalization in time recording and workforce management processes.
Integration & Projects
- Coordinate interfaces between WFM system and payroll/ERP (e.g., SAP, DATEV, Kronos).
- Support system upgrades, migrations, and new module implementations.
- Lead or support WFM-related projects (new terminal rollouts, mobile apps, access control integration).
Training & Communication
- Train HR, managers, and employees in WFM processes and system use.
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for workforce management solutions.
Qualifications
- Degree in IT, Business Administration, HR Management, or related field.
- Professional experience in workforce management systems (time & attendance, shift planning).
- Solid understanding of Mexican & USA laws (LFT, IMSS, Colective Contracts).
- Experience with WFM tools such as ADP, SAP HCM, or similar.
- Strong technical skills: system configuration, interface handling, reporting.
- Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in Spanish and English.
Nice‑to‑Have Skills
- Experience in manufacturing or production environments.
- Knowledge of GDPR compliance in HR systems.
- Project management experience (e.g., system rollout, digitalization initiatives).
- Familiarity with access control and production data collection systems (PDC/BDE).
