We are seeking a dynamic and motivated professional for the role of Training and Development Specialist. In this position, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs that strengthen the skills and competencies of our employees.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree (Communication, Administration, Economics, and/or related field)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Intermediate to advanced English
Knowledge of
- IATF 16949 Standard
- ISO 14001 Standard
- ISO 45001 Standard
- Mexican regulations regarding training
Main activities
- Establish, monitor, and improve training procedures.
- Generate the annual training program based on training needs assessments, job descriptions, legal requirements, specific client requirements, and other relevant information.
- Select the most suitable external training providers to deliver training to staff.
- Manage education programs (Language Program, etc.). Manage quality, safety, health, and environmental programs (quality circles, IATF training, ISO 14001, and OHS training).
- Manage corporate training, ensuring its delivery and effectiveness.
- Ensure that induction course topics are covered, information is up-to-date, and assessments are graded.
- Ensure the ILUO system has updated matrices, documenting evidence records and forms necessary to validate training.
- Support top management in creating and/or updating job descriptions and/or responsibility and authority matrices for all areas.
- Ensure legal compliance regarding training and skills development with thePS (Mexican Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare). (Forms DC1, DC2, DC3, DC4, etc.).
- Ensure that training evidence is documented in all personnel files.
- Ensure the supply of consumables for training courses. Provide support in assessments and training for career advancement.
- Update and present KPIs.
A strong background in training program design, effective communication skills, and a proven ability to motivate and guide teams are required.
