A leading aerospace manufacturer located in Querétaro is seeking a Technologist in Quality Assurance to certify products, support customer queries, and ensure compliance with quality systems. The ideal candidate has a relevant engineering degree and quality inspection experience. This position offers a comprehensive benefits program and promotes flexible work policies.

Formación

  • 1 to 5 years experience as quality inspector, preferably for aeronautical assemblies.
  • Understanding of GD&T and quality tools.
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing practices, preferably Six Sigma.
  • Intermediate English communication skills.

Responsabilidades

  • Certify product at final stage.
  • Raise Non-conformance reports and analyze issues.
  • Support customer queries and investigate concerns.
  • Ensure compliance with the Quality management system.

Conocimientos

Bachelor's degree in Aeronautical, Electric, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanic Engineering

Contributions to the team
  • Delivery of product process
    • Certify product at final stage
    • Create, assign and determine the delivery documentation for movement or shipment
  • Non-conformance reporting
    • Andon attendance, support, coordination and resolve
    • Review Engineering requirements and preliminary investigations
    • Raise Non-conformance reports, analysis for the repetitive issues, and give feedback to Production and Methods from information of Non Conformity Documentation
    • Approve disposition at appropriate stage per Quality MRB role
    • Leading and coordinate the natural team to develop the corrective and preventive actions for major issues on nonconforming reports
    • Perform Stock purge documentation, analysis of major offenders per supplier, report and evaluation findings and coordinate with Quality inter-site the follow up for corrective actions
  • First Article Reports
    • Execute FAI requirements
    • Feedback pass/fail information to appropriate function inspection and verification
    • Follow up KPI (key performance indicators) of PV (Production Verification) stamps per area
  • Customer queries (Internal and External)
    • Support customer queries and concerns investigations
    • Monitor product for re-occurrence of issue (CPN Customer Protection Notice, CAB Customer Action Board)
  • Conformity Process
    • Create conformity packages of built records
    • Interaction with Andon with natural teams
    • Ensure compliance with Quality management system
    • Certifies product when conformity is processed
  • Coach and perform the proper selection with the team to handle the equipment to take measurements on the shopfloor related to the appropriate process inspection
Skills, knowledge & experience
  • You have a bachelor\'s degree or college degree (TSU) in Aeronautical, Electric, Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-mechanic Engineering
  • You have 1 to 5 years experience as quality inspector, preferred for aeronautical assemblies
  • You have 1 to 5 years experience managing: GD&T, Quality tools, Lean Manufacturing practices (Six Sigma, Green Belt)
  • You have an intermediate English level
  • You have Office 360 knowledge and intermediate to advanced Excel level of expertise
