Position Overview

As a Technical Sales Representative, you will be responsible for all aspects of customer engagement based on the fundamentals of Integrity Selling and Composites One’s Core Values. In this role, you will maintain and grow sales revenue in your assigned region through both new and existing accounts. You will serve as a technical consultant and problem solver for customers and will be responsible for meeting or exceeding Gross Profit Margin targets while maximizing profitability in your territory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support all aspects of customer contact and relationships based on integrity and the Composites One Core Values.
  • Cultivate business relationships with new and existing customers to increase sales revenue within the assigned geographic territory.
  • Meet Territory Budget Goals, including Sales, Gross Profit Margin (GPM), and others, as established by the Sales Manager.
  • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify target accounts and plan customer contact activities.
  • Monitor and maintain customer satisfaction, inventory needs, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams on key business aspects including pricing, inventory, product quality, financial stability, and competitive activity.
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, and feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate internal staff and customers.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams by serving as a technical resource and solutions provider.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory; convert competitive business and achieve strategic targets established by the Sales Manager.
  • Organize, grow, and protect sales within the territory while effectively managing resources and expenses to maximize ROI.
Expected Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the composites industry and/or industrial manufacturing environment, OR at least 3 years of experience in sales or customer service with a proven track record of sales success and/or technical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to learn internal database and software systems.
  • Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques, and familiarity with composites markets.
  • Strong sales aptitude and demonstrated ability to increase profits and market share.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and understand supplier products, processes, and strategies to support customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a positive customer service focus.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Legal authorization to work in Mexico. (Work visa sponsorship is not available.)
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Composite, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools.
  • Experience with SAP, Sales Cloud, or Salesforce.
Travel

Significant travel required (local, national, and international), up to 60%.

Location & Work Schedule
  • Primarily remote; this position is open to candidates currently based in Mexico, with a preference for the following locations: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Querétaro, Monterrey, or San Luis Potosí.
  • Standard business hours aligned with Mountain Time, with flexibility depending on customer needs.
