A swim instruction organization seeks a part-time Swim Instructor in Chihuahua, Mexico. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and teaching swim skills to students. Qualified candidates should be compassionate and able to work for extended periods in water, with a willingness to learn. Position offers competitive pay ($16.85 - $22.00 per hour) and a vibrant, engaging work environment. Flexibility to work weekday afternoons and Saturday mornings is required.
NON SEASONAL APPLICANTS ONLY - great part time work (~9-12 hrs per week available year round). As a swim instructor you are responsible for the safety of each class and teaching swim skills to students using our curriculum. You will work to build water confidence within your students, encouraging each student to rise to the best of their abilities. You can expect to be regularly communicating with students and fellow staff members.
Instructors at LSA are trained to take on an active and participatory role in each lesson, offering visual demonstration and encouragement to motivate each swimmer to push themselves to become better and stronger swimmers. Each lesson is passionately infused with a spirit of aquatic adventure in a respectful homage to the many heroes and legends that continue to inspire Southern California and the United States.
In addition to teaching basic survival skills and technical instruction on the strokes, LSA is proud to focus on developing breath control, buoyancy and learning how to maximize propulsion in the most energy efficient manner.

Compensation: $16.85 - $22.00 per hour
