A global healthcare company in Ciudad Juárez is seeking a Staff Planner Buyer to drive supply chain efficiency and customer service. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, 6-8 years of experience in inventory and production, and strong analytical skills. Formación

  • 6 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, inventory and production preferred.
  • Certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) or certified in supply chain planning (CSCP) desirable.
  • Process Excellence/Six Sigma certification preferred.

We are searching for the best talent for Staff Planner Buyer to be in Juarez City.

Responsibilities
  • Drive customer service and inventory results for their assigned codes.
  • Provide guidance on activities affecting supplier capacity to achieve long-term production volume, including recommending the need to identify/create additional capacity to meet production requirements.
  • Create and communicate the inventory business plan.
  • Interpret MRP requirements.
  • Resolve discrepancies with Accounts Payables.
  • Resolve materials rejections and quality problems.
  • Ensure optimum supply of components to maintain the mix of codes and quantities at optimal inventory levels.
  • Drive raw material redirect and allocation processes to maximize customer service.
  • Optimize system-planning parameters to drive accurate production signals and inventory targets (safety stock, period of supply, period order quantity, DOD, time-phased safety stock, system production calendar, purchased item lead times, purchased item parameters).
  • Ensure planned events (conversion/transfers) affecting supplier or production do not impact customer service or inventory goals.
  • Communicate and document planned events and create COs necessary to support planned events/base business, as needed.
  • Provide information to track/trend customer service, inventory and performance metrics (planning models, aged sales/purchased orders, BO projection, field availability, line status).
  • Execute SLOB process.
  • Document business processes to support business continuity.
  • Perform other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Follow current compliance regulations and standards; comply with all federally regulated programs.
  • Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to management.
  • If supervising staff, ensure subordinates follow Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that required resources are available and in good condition.
  • Ensure personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in supply chain, inventory and production is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills (Excel, Access, etc.). Ability to test assumptions and scenarios and weigh business risks and opportunities.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
  • Certified in production and inventory management (CPIM) or certified in supply chain planning (CSCP) desirable.
  • Supply chain/operations and medical device experience preferred; regulatory environment knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes.
  • Process Excellence/Six Sigma certification, training, and/or use of tools preferred.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting the team’s goals.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English).
