This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Software Engineer (React) in Mexico.

In this role, you will design and build innovative, high-performance web applications that improve payment experiences for merchants across Latin America. You will work closely with Product and Design teams to translate complex financial workflows into seamless, user-friendly interfaces. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fully remote, distributed environment, taking ownership of your projects while collaborating across high-performing teams. You will contribute to internationalization, analytics integration, and data-driven feature development. With a focus on quality, scalability, and user impact, this role allows you to influence the digital experience of millions of users and participate in the fast-evolving fintech ecosystem.

Accountabilities:

• Architect and develop responsive, high-impact web interfaces using React, NextJS, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Backend teams to deliver seamless UI/UX solutions.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code following TDD/BDD best practices.
• Implement internationalization strategies to support users across Brazil and LATAM.
• Integrate analytics platforms and execute A/B testing to optimize user experience and product performance.
• Continuously improve frontend performance, accessibility, and responsiveness.
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team-wide initiatives to maintain high engineering standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience as a Frontend Software Engineer, preferably with React.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and NextJS.
• Experience with data fetching and caching strategies (e.g., SWR, React Query).
• Knowledge of internationalization tools (e.g., react-intl, next-intl).
• Experience with analytics platforms (Segment, Amplitude) and experimentation frameworks.
• Familiarity with web performance optimization, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Portuguese or Spanish is highly desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment while collaborating effectively with distributed teams.
• Nice-to-have: experience with Tailwind CSS, React Native, Java/Spring Boot, fintech or crypto domain knowledge, and strong understanding of OOD, TDD, and BDD.
