This Position reports to:

Facility Manager

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be a tenured member of the Real Estate function in the given geography/specialized area who owns a specific area of responsibility/topic within the function. Each day, you will improve efficiency, performance, and cost‑effective service delivery, by analyzing and proposing the plan of actions for the function. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the systems implementation/upgrade in your area of functional responsibility.

The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Participating in defining, implementing, and continuously optimizing processes, procedures, and action plans for improvement, within area of functional responsibility, in alignment with the group guidelines, policies, and procedures.
• Recommending, developing, and assisting in the implementation of special programs, in your area of functional specialty.
• Providing support for special real estate initiatives.
• Ensuring accurate and up‑to‑date maintenance of ABB owned/leased/rented property databases and other relevant records.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• 4+ years of experience in similar roles as a facilities engineer.
• Experience in project administration and project management in facilities, maintenance, and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Experience with SAP and/or Oracle.
• Experience in direct and indirect personnel management.
• Advanced level of English (conversational).
