As a Sales analyst, you will partner with growing GTM team to catalyze business growth by providing quantitative analysis, industry expertise, and strategic insight.

You’ll serve as the analytics expert, effectively weaving data into stories with meaningful recommendations.

Priorities include collaborating with marketing on all lead generation tools & processes, working with sales management on sales metrics, sales process, tools, territory and quota model and go-to-market planning, as well as working with finance and other stakeholders to report on revenue realization.

What You’ll Be Doing :
  • Develop and execute standardized sales performance reporting and analysis with the goal of making specific recommendations to support management decisions
  • Develop and maintain standard daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the sales team
  • Implement comprehensive pipeline reporting tools tracking opportunities from lead generation to acquisition
  • Assist with lead distribution and management in collaboration with marketing and GTM teams
  • Work as a consultant to the Revenue team in order to help them understand key challenges and constraints limiting sales productivity.
  • Drive business case analysis, modeling, and recommendations (e.g., opportunity sizing, impact analysis, forecasting)
What You’ll Add to DigitalOcean :
  • Proven experience in Sales Operations and / or Sales, SMB Sales experience strongly preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in a quantitative analytics role, preferably in a high-growth environment, working across multiple stakeholders, teams or businesses
  • Demonstrable critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability and confidence to make conclusions and recommendations from data
  • Experience building easily digestible data visualizations, dashboards and reports
  • Advanced experience querying data (SQL), and ad hoc analysis (Excel)
  • Experience with data modeling in Looker or other BI tool (e.g. Tableau)
  • Expertise in Salesforce and the Salesforce ecosystem and other sales related software and tools
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
