The integration of key features in the vehicle development process is critical to deliver world‑class connected autonomous vehicle features and vehicles.
The Vehicles Synthesis and Physical / Functional Design Integration (VSPE) team is looking for a Program Manager to work with a team of engineers responsible for the vehicle integration activities for Advanced Driver‑Assistance Systems (ADAS), Human Machine Interface & User Experience (HMI / UXE), and Connectivity Features & System Design (CSFD).
Responsibilities
- Work with a team of engineers responsible for the Vehicle Synthesis and PFDI Evolution of ADAS, Connectivity and HMI / UXE vehicle features
- Focus on feature performance and synthesis, vehicle target setting, competitive benchmarking, functional design and development and the create of full vehicle and feature validation plans
- Serve as a point of contact to collaborate with all stakeholders such as Project Synthesis Managers, Vehicle Chief Engineers, Design Studio, Homologation, Software Integration, Electrical Engineering etc
- Capture stakeholder needs such as feature roadmaps, expected performance, brand needs, market demand, product grids, regulations requirement etc
- Support communication and coordination of efforts to remove roadblocks to ensure the success of the VSPE team
- Create and manage project plans and technical scorecards for their relative vehicle segments
- Manage VSPE project issues and elevate when necessary
- Provide impact assessment for product / feature changes
- Support resolution of cross‑functional issues affecting VSPE Functional performances
- Support performance specialists in future vehicle and feature target setting
- Assist in creating benchmark plans for main VSPE systems and features of competitors
Minimum Requirements
- A minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university
- Basic knowledge of vehicle level, systems and features development and industrialization, and technical project leadership
- Understanding of the automotive V‑model development cycle, competitive assessment, vehicle level target setting
- Strong communication, technical leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Excellent ana lytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to adapt to major strategy shifts whilst ensuring work continuity and motivation
- 2+ years of experience leading project management or a cross‑functional team
- Proficient in Microsoft suite including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Preferred Requirements
- Market knowledge of competitive automotive ADAS, HMI, and Connectivity market trends and safety protocols
- Working‑level knowledge of vehicle level, systems and features development and industrialization, and technical project leadership
- Hands‑on experience with ADAS, HMI, or connectivity
- 5+ years of experience leading project management or a cross‑functional team
