A multinational electronics manufacturer seeks a Production Engineer in Mexicali to enhance production systems and improve productivity. The role involves managing KPIs, analyzing production loss, and collaborating with internal teams for effective project execution. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering and 2-3 years of relevant experience. This position offers opportunities to work with automation technologies and drive quality improvements in manufacturing processes.

Formación

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in production engineering.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and report KPIs like Monthly Automation Rate.
• Analyze and improve production losses.
• Collaborate with internal teams for project success.
• Support new product implementations in production.

Conocimientos

Solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems

Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and industrial electronics

Ability to read system schematics and diagrams

Mitsubishi PLC control capability

Intermediate or higher Excel and PowerPoint (MS Office)

Educación

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering

POSITION SUMMARY

We analyze and improve the loss of production systems and facilities. We improve facility error rates and research new technologies.

Respond to investments in major production systems and automation facilities in a timely manner to satisfy customers' needs and strengthen global production competitiveness.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Production Engineering Management

• Managing & Reporting the KPI(Monthly Automation Rate, Monthly of reduction person, etc)
• Production, Production Machines loss Analysis and improvement
• Analysis of production lines responding to new models, calculation of investment costs, and response to production facilities
• Continuous communication and collaboration with internal staff or teams for successful projects
• Create bench work for problem solving related operation and Quality management and review results with related areas (Mfg, Engineering, QA, etc.)
• Determine production machines goals and plan/manage resources accordingly to meet deadlines

Line/Machines Support

• Effective interaction with production to implement new products/parts and make process / parts improvements.
• Machines Stabilization, Idle Time Improve, Corrective Maintenance, Improve of UPH & Machines Tact Time.
• Create action plans for Machine Parts Quality improvement/Process optimization.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering,
• Experience in 2-3 years.

• Mechanics and Electricity: Solid foundation in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
• Automation and Electronics: Knowledge of PLCs, control systems, and industrial electronics.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Ability to read system schematics and diagrams.
• Mitsubishi PLC control capability.
• Ability to use intermediate or higher Excel and PowerPoint(MS Office)
