Our product set operates globally to support complex companies as they manage liquidity across legal entities, geographies, currencies and time zones.

As an Account Solutions Product Manager you will be accountable for the demand deposit accounts in Mexico. This role reports directly to the Country Liquidity and Account Solutions Lead. This individual will be responsible for product management, product discovery and expansion, product commercialization and client product adoption. The target client segments include multinational corporations, large local corporates, high-growth technology companies, non-bank financial institutions, central banks and banks.

Job responsibilities
  • Business Growth. Develop strategic plans to grow the AS business in Mexico in partnership regional teams. Leverage a deep understanding of local regulatory environment, market trends, evolving client needs and competitive landscape to drive our AS strategy. Identify opportunities for product innovation and product expansion. Create campaigns to commercialize new and existing AS solutions. Partner with client relationship managers and sales teams and across J.P. Morgan to deliver against the strategy.
  • Product Management. Adapt the product offering and related processes to changing market and regulatory factors to support clients and achieve agreed goals. Develop a country product roadmap in partnership with the regional product managers and tech partners. Work with Legal, Risk and Compliance to document and address product risk. Partner with Technology, Operations, Client Service and Implementations to improve client experience.
  • Risk Management. Ensure a detailed understanding of the local regulations, the risk attributes of applicable products and employ sound judgment. Actively identify, manage, and remediate risks while reinforcing a team culture of compliance and risk ownership. Work with partners to ensure controls are in place to minimize errors and breaks in the operational process. Embrace an end-to-end focus on controls as a part of established business strategy.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Relevant industry experience in Account Solutions, Demand Deposit Accounts and Cash Management Products.
  • Strong knowledge on the transactional banking and regulatory environment for Mexico.
  • Structured product manager skills with the ability to lead complex product implementations.
  • Strong commercial discipline, with track record of making commercially viable business decisions.
  • Good communication skills required, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across J.P. Morgan and with external parties in both Spanish and English.
