An international optics company in Mexico is seeking a skilled professional to lead the design of optomechatronic integration solutions for corrective lenses and smart frames. The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Optical Science or Applied Physics and a minimum of 3 years' experience in the optomechatronic integration industry, preferably with XR equipment or precision optical instruments. Strong problem-solving abilities and technical document writing skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of optomechatronic integration solutions for extended reality corrective lenses and smart frames. Complete the coordinated matching design of optical systems, mechanical structures, and electronic controls, and deliver detailed design schemes, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Carry out adaptability development of corrective lenses and intelligent optical modules for different optometric prescription needs, and optimize precision and optical path interference during optomechanical coupling.
  • Improve the system's optometric correction accuracy and optical performance stability through simulation analysis and experimental verification.
  • Coordinate the entire lens processing process, including the formulation of processing technology schemes, equipment parameter debugging, and processing precision control.
  • Collaborate with the embedded hardware/software team to complete the coordinated debugging of the smart frame's electronics system with optical and mechanical modules, optimize control algorithms, and ensure the accurate realization of functions such as sensor data collection, drive execution, and dynamic adjustment of optometric parameters.
  • Collaborate with cross‑departmental teams such as Product, TIE, and Operations to drive R&D and Operations projects. Lead the development of mass production technology and drive scalable manufacturing process development.
  • Precipitate technical experience related to optomechatronic integration and processing technology, compile technical documents and patent application materials, and build a technical knowledge base.
Qualifications
  • Master or above, major in Optical Science/Engineering, Applied Physics.
  • Min. 3‑yr experience of optomechatronic integration industry. Experience in XRequipment, smart glasses, prescription lenses or precision optical instruments is preferred.
  • Rigorous logical thinking, attention to details, and strong ability in technical document writing and patent awareness.
  • Strong problem‑solving capability; Independent technical research capability; Software operation capability; Cross‑function communication and collaboration capability.
