Tidal is a Direct Placement Agency that helps job seekers find job opportunities for real growth. We work with stable, responsible businesses experienced in remote hires and are excited to welcome international team members. Tidal is owned and operated by consumer brand owners and operators. We have offshore team-building experience and aim to help businesses leverage global talent.

About This Role:

We are hiring a Finance and Operations Senior Manager to own both financial and operational accounting for a fast-growing consumer products brand. This is a senior, hands-on role for someone who can independently manage accounting while supporting complex operational workflows tied to inventory, purchasing, and manufacturing.

The brand works with multiple suppliers per product, including different vendors for ingredients, packaging, and production. This role requires experience managing accounting and invoices across multi-vendor, multi-component manufacturing, not single-vendor setups. The ideal candidate brings strong CPG operational accounting experience and can step in with minimal coaching.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Own full‑cycle monthly close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals

  • Maintain accurate general ledger and financial records across finance and operations

  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements for leadership

  • Manage accounts payable across multiple vendors, manufacturers, and service providers

  • Handle inventory accounting, including COGS, landed costs, and adjustments

  • Review and account for purchase orders, BOMs, and multi‑vendor inventory transactions

  • Reconcile inventory balances across ingredients, packaging, and finished goods

  • Support operational workflows tied to manufacturing, inventory movement, and cost accuracy

  • Identify discrepancies, risks, or process gaps and proactively recommend fixes

  • Partner closely with the founder and operations team on financial clarity and cash flow visibility

Software / Platforms / Tools:
  • Accounting software (QuickBooks Online or similar)

  • Inventory, BOM, and purchase order tracking systems

  • Google Sheets or Excel (advanced proficiency)

  • Cloud‑based file storage and collaboration tools

Qualifications:
  • 3–5 years of freelancing experience

  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills (C1 or C2 level)

  • 4–7+ years of accounting experience within CPG, consumer products, or eCommerce

  • Proven experience managing multi‑vendor, multi‑component manufacturing accounting

  • Strong background in inventory accounting, BOMs, and purchase order workflows

  • Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle monthly close independently

  • High attention to detail with strong ownership and accountability

  • Comfortable working directly with a founder in a lean environment

  • Senior‑level judgment with minimal need for coaching

Shift Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday, with some overlap with US business hours preferred
