Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Maintenance Supervisor.
What you’ll do:
Job Summary
Supervise and coordinate all the equipment/tooling maintenance and calibration and related activities and the personnel that will be providing support to injection molding, punch press, subassy, lightspeed and assembly operations. Including but not limited to support with his team on electric and mechanical installation of assembly lines and stand alone equipments, pneumatics and mechanicals, problems resolution on the mechanic controls, electrics and programmed.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform all activities with high safety EATON MESH standards and deploy them through his team.
- Set the maintenance supervisor technicians for priorities for production.
- Responsible to maintain tools and equipment in optimal conditions through the maintenance programs he established for all the plant.
- Follow up to the equipment preventive and predictive maintenance efforts and corrective actions. This person administration will ensure that all preventive and corrective activities are executed on time and with the expected quality.
- Maintenance technician’s administration (shifts, vacations, payroll). Evaluate weaknesses and strengths of the different technicians and perform the mix of talent per shift so that the maintenance service is always supported by the best talent available.
- Participate in implementation of projects that positively impact quality, cost and/or cycle time. Provide solutions that are technically possible and that will yield effective problem solving.
- Maintenance administration (priorities for the planned maintenance, repair, priorities for production support, tools sourcing, spare parts request as needed). Provide key information such as maintenance schedules up to date, status of a repair, expected completion time, monthly needs for spare parts, purchase orders for maintenance needs.
- Provide technical support to injection molding, stamping, lightspeed and assembly lines when a need for equipment repair arises. Provide technical solutions that will solve complex problems.
- Maintain updated technical information for equipment of all areas. Keep updated maintenance records and schedules.
- Knowledge of predictive maintenance (asset condition) areas such as vibration analysis, oil analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasound lubrication and leaks detection.
- Maintain and present maintenance metrics such as MTTR and MTBF.
- Develop maintenance plans for all the plant assets.
- Keep spare parts list updated with min. and max. quantities for SPI.
Qualifications:
1. Education level
Mechanical/Electro-Mechanical or equivalent engineering degree.
2. Years and area of experience
Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience.
3. Technical knowledge
- English 80%.
- Maintenance programs knowledge.
- Calibration methods knowledge.
- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Mechanical drafting principles.
- AutoCAD / Inventor / SolidWorks.
- Desired certified reliability leader or certified maintenance manager.
- Previous experience with processes such as injection molding and stamping.
