A leading automotive safety company in Aguascalientes seeks an experienced LPEA Engineer to ensure compliance with manufacturing processes and support production alignment. The role involves collaborating with global assembly experts to enhance local efficiency, quality, and safety. Candidates should have a background in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering and at least three years of relevant experience in automation and machine design.
The Local Process Equipment Authority (LPEA) is a local expert in assembly. They are connected to the Steering Wheel Product Line to share and learn global best practices that can apply in local facilities to achieve maximum efficiencies. This role assures compliance to Manufacturing Process Specifications and Corporate Process Specifications. Guidance and support to the Autonomous Manufacturing Organization to align equipment for production and development projects apply 1P1P strategies. Local Process Equipment Authority are strategic positions to link each region with global assembly experts. This role is a primary connection to the Steering Wheel Product Line with goal to empower local facilities to achieve maximum efficiency, quality, cost benefit, safety, automation and productivity. A significant principle to execute this strategy is 1 Product / 1 Process (1P1P).
Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, or related field. Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing with Automation, robotics and machine equipment design. Flexible work schedule to participate in meetings in different time zones.
