A leading logistics firm located in Jalisco is seeking a Trade Compliance, Customs & Logistics Analyst. This role involves ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, assessing risks associated with customs operations, and optimizing processes. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree, have 3-5 years of relevant experience, and possess strong analytical skills. The Trade Compliance, Customs & Logistics I, is responsible for participating in compliance activities related to international trade. This role involves assessing risks associated with Plexus customs operations, implementing compliance procedures and work instructions, and providing guidance to internal teams. To ensure the correct compliance with customs and tax regulations in import and/or export operations through the technical review (vetting/audit) of documents and the accurate determination of the customs value (Declaration of Value / Value Manifestation).
The analyst will also play a key role in optimizing processes and supporting audits to ensure compliance with trade regulations.
Practical experience in Customs Entry Vetting (GLOSA), handling and preparation of the Value Manifestation and its annex documentation, solid knowledge of the Customs Law and the legal framework applicable to foreign trade.
Google workspace usage; familiarity with trade compliance (Annex 24) and ERP software, advanced proficiency in trade compliance, specific knowledge of the IMMEXumulative program, AEO SECIIT, and VAT certification.
Analytical skills for risk assessment and knowledge at PROSEC, USMCA and 8th Rule is preferred.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, strong communication, ability to work in a team environment, problem‑solving skills, and approach to process improvement.
