Overview

We are seeking a U.S. based Lead Program Manager to guide the planning, execution, and delivery of complex, large-scale digital programs.

This role requires a strong client services orientation and product management skills, ideally from a consultancy, agency, professional services, or systems integrator environment. You must excel at developing trusted relationships with client stakeholders, influencing product roadmap decision‑making with clarity, and steering delivery execution in environments with complex dependencies and competing priorities.

As a Lead Program Manager, you will oversee program leadership and governance product development vision and ceremonies, ensure transparency of timelines and budgets, communicate strategically and proactively manage risk and dependencies. You will also shape delivery management standards, mentor other delivery leaders, and elevate delivery maturity across accounts.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the successful delivery of multi‑team, multi‑workstream programs from initiation through completion. Develop and maintain program timelines, roadmaps, forecasts, and communication frameworks.
  • Execute the hard skills of product management as needed - crafting client roadmaps, writing tickets, definition of done and managing a product backlog - but more frequently acting as a strategic leader to help prioritize feature development against business goals, align stakeholders and guide internal decision‑making around product execution and development.
  • Ensure alignment between engineering, product, design, and client stakeholders to establish clear priorities and decision pathways.
  • Monitor program financials, track budget utilization, and provide proactive reporting on trends or risks.
  • Set and reinforce delivery expectations, operating rhythms, and communication cadences across teams.
  • Facilitate direct collaboration between internal teams and client teams—avoiding bottlenecks or gatekeeping.
  • Implement Agile delivery practices at scale and coach cross‑functional teams on collaboration and workflow.
  • Identify and resolve cross‑program dependencies, sequencing issues, staffing needs, or risk exposures.
  • Run executive‑level reporting, steering committees, and stakeholder communications.
  • Mentor program and project managers; support leveling up delivery practices and artifacts.
  • Support account teams in identifying extension, expansion, or optimization opportunities.
Key Performance Indicators
  • Programs delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Client satisfaction and stakeholder trust.
  • Clarity and predictability of reporting and delivery execution.
  • Internal delivery process maturity improvements.
  • Successful enablement of PMs.
  • Agile and Scrum best practices
Qualifications

Required

  • 7–12+ years of experience in project/program/product management, with at least 3+ years in a consulting, agency, or professional services environment.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and drive alignment across executive, product, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success managing large‑scale, multi‑workstream digital programs within enterprise environments.
  • Strong command of Agile methodologies and scaled delivery frameworks.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Experience managing program financials, forecasts, and resource planning.
  • Ability to influence without authority and guide teams toward shared outcomes.
  • Availability to work U.S. Eastern or Central time zone hours.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, Aha, FigJam, or similar project collaboration & tracking tools.

Nice to Have

  • Experience identifying and supporting account expansion opportunities.
  • Familiarity with Flutter, cross‑platform mobile development, or native mobile app ecosystems.
  • Experience managing distributed teams across multiple regions.
  • PMP, CSM, SAFe, or similar certifications.
