Satellite Teams is in search of an Investment Associate who will work for a U.S. based high end Real Estate firm.

The role of an Investment Associate is to research and recommend various investment opportunities to a company and its executives.

They do this through much research and data analysis.

Much of the research is into a company's financial capabilities and the investment risks, possible profits, and other factors.

RESPONSABILITIES

• Evaluate and execute Real Estate Investments
• Create and maintain financial models for real estate private equity funds—including historical and projected asset cash flows, investor contributions / distributions, and fund-level expenses
• Track, vet, calculate and analyze investment and fund-level information including return projections, net asset values, and key performance metrics
• Produce investor update reports containing key information including investment strategy commentary, financial summaries, product type, geographic diversification charts, contributions / distributions, and projected returns
• Perform analyses including hold / sell / refinancing sensitivities
• Collaborate with all departments of the firm
• Participate in other special projects as requested

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in English and Spanish
• 3-4 years of experience in finance / Investment Banking (Real Estate experience is a plus)
• Team player, collaborative, strong relationship-building skills
• Self-starter with the ability to multi-task on complex deals
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
• Familiarity with financial modeling, including discounted cash flows and promote waterfalls
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage and effectively present information
