Una empresa del sector aeroespacial busca un Ingeniero de Industrialización en Mexicali, Baja California. Será responsable de la industrialización de nuevos productos, gestionando planes de industrialización y analizando riesgos de proceso. Se requiere un título en ingeniería, 3 años de experiencia, conocimientos en CNC y herramientas CAD/CAM, y dominio del inglés. La empresa ofrece un entorno colaborativo enfocado en la mejora continua y la excelencia operacional.

Formación

  • Se requiere experiencia mínima de 3 años en un puesto similar.
  • Inglés obligatorio.
  • Certificación Green belt, DMAIC (deseable).

  • Gestionar entregables de industrialización en nuevos programas.
  • Desarrollar y ejecutar planes de industrialización.
  • Analizar y gestionar riesgos industriales y de producto.

Descripción y detalle de las actividades

Responsible for engineering support during the assembly, test and acceptance processes. This includes responsibility for specific process or environmental areas. Provides technical support to Operations personnel in the form of enabling and improving the flow of manufacturing utilizing the disciplines of industrial and mechanical engineering.

Responsibilities
  • Manage industrialization deliverables on new programs as part of the integrated program team.
  • Develop and execute Industrialization plans in accordance with Safran Corporate standards and program goals.
  • Represent the industrialization team in customer and program meetings as required.
  • Create the production element of the industrial dossier, mainly manufacturing bill of material (BOM), routers, and standardized work instructions (including operations allocated time).
  • Develop Cycle Time and Takt Time standards and plan to achieve them integrate plan for the design, manufacture and implementation of new tools of prototypes from the tooling engineering teams on the new program.
  • Analyze and manage industrial process and product risk during development.
  • Work with the Design and Manufacturing teams to develop optimal production processes for each product type. - Coordinate with Facilities to ensure that the necessary production floor space and support is allocated in conjunction with the required schedule.
  • Provide feedback to Design group for DFMA (design for manufacture and assembly).
  • Develop a detailed phasing schedule for implementation of new lines.
  • Maintain industrialization metrics in line with pilot control standard KPI's and communicate performance on a regular basis.
  • Champion and implement Lean principles.
  • Lead and participate in Kaizen and 3P events to develop improvements and plans.
  • Support Departmental and Personal Objectives / Measurement.
Experiencia y requisitos
Required competences
  • Education : Bachelor degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Mechatronic or Electronic Engineering.
  • Experience : 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Certifications : Green belt, DMAIC (desirable)
  • Languages : English (mandatory) Skills and abilities :
  • Experience in industrialization for new products or insourcing, especially in metal parts machining and CNC 5 axis machine.
  • Knowledge and experience on special processes for machining.
  • Proficiency in drawing interpretations, EBOM, DFMEA, and Geometric Tolerance (GD&T)
  • Understanding of part application, functional requirements, and Key Characteristics identification.
  • Experience in defining production routing, MBOM. Standardized work instructions and rework routines.
  • Risk management and KPI monitoring experience.
  • Continuous improvement activities such as Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma.
  • Microsoft Office tools knowledge.
  • Understanding in machining process (CNC process strong preferred).
  • Knowledge in manufacturing costing process (desirable).
  • Knowledge in teat treat and grinding process (desirable).
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD and CAD / CAM Program (MasterCAM, Solidworks)
  • SAP knowledge
