Responsibilities
- Lead and drive a collaborative and efficient IBP monthly process to align a consensus forecast with Sales, Marketing and Finance.
- Manage any overlays to the baseline volume driven by new product introductions, promotions, price increases, and other commercial activities that may affect demand.
- Ensure the end‑to‑end cross‑functional business planning aligns commercial and operational strategies with SBD business objectives.
- Lead and manage teams focused on portfolio optimization.
- Accountable for forecast accuracy and bias performance to achieve agreed‑upon targets.
- Facilitate IBP meetings with cross‑functional leaders, setting a high‑impact agenda and gathering inputs from stakeholders.
- Ensure activity grid delivery and follow‑up with commercial teams on the demand planning process to guarantee quality plans.
- Facilitate Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) bi‑weekly meetings for quick short‑term decision making.
- Ensure all relevant financial elements of the demand plan (GS, NSV, SGM) are identified, discussed, and agreed upon, enabling a single volume‑value conversation.
- Challenge activity plans and volume assumptions using historical trends, analytics, and market knowledge to create an unbiased forecast.
- Document forecast assumptions for volume/value construction in demand review meetings.
- Generate demand walk‑variances compared to last month’s S&OP and lead demand and supply integration.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis with commercial teams to identify forecast error drivers and take corrective action for continuous improvement.
- Plan scenarios for significant market events, such as customer activities and economic conditions.
Qualifications
- End‑to‑end business comprehension and strong business commercial acumen.
- Good knowledge, management, and coordination of the IBP/S&OP process.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and decision‑making skills.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge senior stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage tension in IBP conversations.
- Detailed understanding of end‑to‑end supply‑chain operational processes: IBP/S&OP, DRP, MPS, inventory optimization, logistics, and customer service.
- Previous experience working with planning ERPs.
- Five years of supply‑chain planning experience (Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Production Planning), including significant IBP/S&OP practice.
- Experience leading and embedding IBP/S&OP best practices with a high degree of quantitative and analytical skills.
