This role involves setting strategic HR initiatives, managing talent recruitment, and ensuring compliance with corporate and local policies. The ideal candidate will have over ten years of HR experience, fluency in both English and Spanish, and strong interpersonal skills to engage with senior leadership. This position is located in MX - Central Office - Santa Fe.

Director Human Resources

The Director Human Resources is responsible for setting and implementing the human resources strategy for Mexico & CAMCAR. He / she must be able to understand the business strategy to determine the strategy to assess, recruit, motivate, and develop the right talent and organization that will enable the Country to achieve its objectives. He / she must be a catalyst within the Country for change and excellence as well as an advocate for all associates. This individual will advise Management on organizational effectiveness and talent management, labor relations, HR policies, compensation and benefit programs while managing HR operations; Implement systems that support accomplishment of country and CAMCAR goals with respect to administration and development of its human resources.

Responsibilities
  • Participate as a key partner with direction management to ensure human resources management concerns are considered in business and strategic planning.
  • Implement an effective ongoing performance management process with the country and CAMCAR, including uniform appraisals, the identification of high potential performers, alignment of the merit bonus plan to the attainment of strategic objectives and oversight of development plans.
  • Retention of high potentials and others is an integral component of this process.
  • Plan, execute, and keep track of development, succession planning and training.
  • Determine and assess the capability of the country and CAMCAR to meet strategic goals, evaluating and developing the quality and overall strength of the management team and others in the organization.
  • Integrate the organization & talent planning process into the business strategy.
  • Function as a consultant to direction management regarding key organizational and management issues related to the attainment of business plans.
  • Responsible for local deployment of the global processes and regional programs in compensation & benefits, labor relations, talent management and Human Resources Information Systems.
  • Partner with country HR leaders to provide effective staffing selection for all job levels with emphasis on building and retaining a highly qualified workforce capable of achieving strategic objectives.
  • Partner with country HR leaders to evaluate and reengineer administrative systems as necessary.
Professional Experience & Competencies
  • A minimum of ten (10) years proven experience managing human resources and personnel systems.
  • Must be fully acquainted with new developments in the HR area.
  • Administration, Planning and Organizational functions prevail in this position, being important to have wide knowledge of corporate policies as well as local laws.
  • Must have a business global vision to manage the HR function toward the accomplishment of the Organization's objectives.
  • High impact decisions are important for the best performance of the organization and the satisfaction of its associates.
  • Ability to work in a local and regional environment.
  • Competence in strategic thinking and planning, innovative thinking, and strong expertise in human resources and leadership development; ability to execute and drive implementation of the agreed-upon strategies.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to link current and anticipated business challenges with the strategic HR function; results driven and execution oriented.
  • Ability to develop and maintain highly effective relationships at all levels both internally and externally.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, leadership and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to engage and influence senior leaders and other key stakeholders, excellent analytical and organizational skills.

Education
  • BS / BA degree in Industrial Business, Human Resources Management, Law.
