A global technology firm is seeking experienced IT Support Field Technicians to assist in a large-scale project that involves decommissioning and disposing of data center hardware. Candidates should have proven experience with hardware from major vendors and excellent organizational skills. This role focuses on physical tasks and requires lifting equipment up to 50 lbs. The position is located in Mexico, Chihuahua, Polanco (Ranchería Mineral Polanco).

Formación

• Proven experience as an IT Support Technician or similar hands-on role.
• Ability to follow instructions and checklists with accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Execute the physical decommissioning of IT assets across international sites.
• Update asset inventories ensuring a clear chain-of-custody.
• Adhere to client security policies and data destruction protocols.

Conocimientos

Experience as IT Support Technician

Practical experience with hardware decommissioning

Familiarity with HP, Dell, Cisco hardware

Attention to detail

Physical capability to lift equipment

Organizational and documentation skills

Educación

CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification
