Position Summary :

As an Engineer III supporting network and voice infrastructure, you will be responsible for global network and telecommunication infrastructure, this includes analysis, design, installation, configuration, troubleshooting, support and administration of the network and telecommunication infrastructure.

This position is responsible for participating in long-term planning that ensures the network and telecommunication infrastructure meets current and future business requirements at Energizer locations globally.

This voice / network engineering position is responsible for building a reliable network and telecommunication infrastructure, set of processes, and network and telecommunication infrastructure to support Energizer’s growth and demands.

Provide guidance in the areas of incident response, baseline network and voice configurations and monitoring.

Design, implement, administration, detection, enforcement and maintenance of specific network and voice systems, primarily WAN, LAN, wireless, cloud and on‑prem PBX equipment with some emphasis on network security access and perimeter control.

Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.

Performs a variety of complicated tasks.

May lead and direct the work of others.

Responsibilities :

• On call support 24x7 that provides administration, advanced support and operational management of network and telecommunication infrastructure
• Define and implement strategies that govern their area including lifecycle management, secure operations, monitoring, capacity planning, performance tuning of network and voice infrastructure
• Identifies and evaluates technical solutions for network and voice infrastructure addressing both short and long-term business initiatives
• Provides technical expertise for operational network and voice infrastructure related issues and maintains the stability of network and voice infrastructure

What we are looking for :

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience will be evaluated
• Administrative experience on Cisco and Aruba networking platforms and wireless
• Administrative experience and working knowledge of Cisco ACS servers, Radius, Cisco VPN, and SSL security configurations
• Experience with network security tools such as analyzers and Windows operating systems
• Problem‑solving and analysis to troubleshoot and repair network security infrastructure and engage other IT colleagues and vendors
• Proactively monitor events, status, and of network infrastructure
• Critical thinkers are open to alternative views to optimize decision making
• Ability to prioritize and deliver on multiple project deadlines and milestones
• Troubleshoot and repair Voice & Video Systems with the assistance of site coordinators and vendors
• Proactively monitor utilization and status and status of telecommunication and network infrastructure
• Design and implement enterprise call flow, route plans, route lists, device profiles, calling search spaces, and partitions
• Work with service providers to order voice circuits (SIP, PRI, POTS) and coordinate delivery of phone services to sites; including SIP and PRI configuration
• Basic understanding of EIGRP, BGP, layer‑two switching, VLANS, Spanning‑Tree, and layer‑three switching
• Demonstrated ability in the area of Vendor Management (support, installations, projects)
