A global leader in industrial refrigeration located in Tijuana, Mexico, is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and improve electrical systems for commercial refrigeration. The role involves compliance with safety standards and troubleshooting issues related to electrical components. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 3–5 years of relevant experience, particularly in HVAC or industrial equipment. Strong knowledge of electrical circuits and intermediate English proficiency are required.

Formación

• 3–5 years of experience, preferably in refrigeration, HVAC, or industrial equipment.
• Strong knowledge of electrical circuits, electronics, and control systems.
• Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, motors, and power electronics.
• Solid understanding of thermodynamics as applied to refrigeration systems.
• Familiarity with UL, CSA, NEC, and North American regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting UL certification processes and compliance testing.
• Intermediate English level (technical and professional communication).

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop electrical and electronic circuits for commercial refrigeration systems.
• Select, evaluate, and validate electrical components in accordance with UL, CSA, and NEC requirements.
• Test and validate prototypes under real operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control issues related to compressors, motors, sensors, and control boards.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for UL certification and regulatory audits.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize system performance.
