An international sports organization based in Mexico City is looking for a Content Manager to lead the execution of their content strategy. THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

  • Collaborate and deliver the execution of a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with the company's business goals and target audience, including marketing plans, presentations and tactical implementation decks.
  • Collaborate with a cross‑functional team of content creators, including writers, editors, designers, and multimedia producers.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with marketing, brand, and other departments to ensure content supports broader business objectives for tournaments assigned.
  • Work closely with creative, digital, and social media teams to create cohesive and effective content campaigns that align to the brand’s voice, tone, and style guidelines.
  • Coordinate the content creation process, from ideation to publication, ensuring all content is on‑brand, accurate, and high quality.
  • Create and secure approvals of content before publication, ensuring it meets medium standards and brand guidelines.
  • Develop and manage a content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, product launches, and other key events.
  • Streamline content workflows to ensure timely delivery of content across all channels.
  • Monitor, collect and analyze data and content performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and create content that resonates with audiences.
  • Ensure that all content is optimized for search engines, incorporating SEO best practices to drive organic traffic.
  • Stay updated on SEO trends and algorithms to maintain and improve content visibility.
  • Experiment with innovative content approaches, such as interactive content, video, and podcasts.
  • Monitor expenses and ensure that content projects stay within budget.
  • Communicate, present and report content strategy, successes, trends, results, and content plans to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage relationships with freelancers, agencies, and other content partners.
  • Ensure that all content complies with legal and regulatory requirements, including copyright laws, data protection regulations, and advertising standards.
  • Travel within Mexico to the US and/or Canada may be required to reflect the business needs of the department (meetings, workshops, site visits, other Events, etc).
YOUR PROFILE

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or similar level of higher education.
  • Fluent in English and Spanish.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in content creation, developing, creative strategy, and leadership responsibilities.

  • Proficiency in visual content, capturing video, postproduction, creative principles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills, attention to detail.
  • Power Point, deck development.
