This position involves maintaining lab infrastructure, executing test automation, and optimizing processes using scripts. The ideal candidate will have over 2 years of experience in IT or testing, practical knowledge of Windows/Linux OS, and sufficient English communication skills. The role demands collaboration with various teams and participation in addressing technical issues. This position offers opportunities to engage in distributed international teamwork.

Formación

• 2+ years relevant work experience in IT, Testing or networking areas.
• Practical knowledge of Windows/Linux-based operating systems.
• Ability to communicate in English effectively.

Project description

We are seeking a hands-on Lab Engineer responsible for managing hardware and software test bench setups, maintaining lab infrastructure, and triaging technical issues. The ideal candidate will support system integration, monitor test environments, and work closely with engineering teams to ensure efficient test execution and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Daily and overnight planned test automation execution
• Lab HW\SW maintenance (Win PC's \ network)
• Test benches maintenance - flashing \ re-configuring
• Other environment re-configuring - phones, USB switches etc
• Process optimization by creating and maintaining supplementary scripts(Bash or Python), using other tools.
• Failure analysis - identifying setup and script issues. Checking for script issues and making a hotfix.
• Addressing problems, participate in further resolving process.
• Communicate with involved teams from different locations.

• Relevant work experience 2+ years in IT, Testing or network areas
• Practical knowledge of Windows\ Linux based OS
• Team player for long-term cooperation!
• Sufficient English level, allowing communication both written and verba

• Practical knowledge of test methodologies, relevant standards, processes, and tools
• Experience of working with Jira, TestRail
• Agile/Scrum experience
• Java\Python experience
