Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in solution engineering, stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
• Experience in developing and troubleshooting data processing algorithms and software using Python, Java, Scala, Spark, and Hadoop frameworks.
• Experience in database management and SQL.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience working with data warehouses, including technical architectures, infrastructure components, ETL/ELT, reporting/analytic tools, and data structures.
• Experience in Big Data, information retrieval, data mining, or Machine Learning.
• Experience architecting and developing software or internet-scale production-grade Big Data solutions in virtualized environments.
• Experience building multi-tier high availability applications with modern web technologies such as NoSQL, MongoDB, SparkML, and TensorFlow.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and CI/CD tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.

About the job

As a Cloud Data Consultant, you'll guide customers on ingesting, storing, processing, analyzing, and visualizing data on Google Cloud Platform. You will work on data migrations, modernization projects, and designing large-scale data processing systems, developing data pipelines, and troubleshooting platform challenges. Understanding of data governance and security is essential. You'll collaborate closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to enhance our products.
