The role involves writing high-quality code, coaching teams, and providing training. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience in backend engineering, be proficient in Java and Spring, and possess an up-to-date understanding of software architectures. This position may require travel and teamwork with global partners.

Meet the job

Your goal is to seamlessly integrate the Backbase platform into our customers’ systems. Implementations generally take around half a year, during which you will find yourself travelling to build relationships and liaise with developers on‑site. During projects you take on the expert role for anything related to backend and bring home components that can be reused or developed further.

Backbase speaks agile software development, just like you. You will write beautiful and smart code, run tests and coach a team of developers on the client and partner side. You will also provide training to those who work with the platform. You know when to be creative and when to consult your colleagues. Because you will be working on a global scale, you easily blend into any work culture.

• 4 years of experience in backend engineering
• You talk Java, you love Spring, you like Microservices and you have extensive experience with integration patterns and frameworks (Apache Camel, Spring Integration);
