Back-End Developer Hybrid in Guadalajara Jalisco

We are seeking a skilled and solution-oriented Back-End Developer with 6+ years of overall IT experience to join our growing team at NTT Data. This role focuses on building and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. You will ensure robust performance, scalability, and security across our digital platforms, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• API Development: Design and implement RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless front-end integration.
• Database Management: Develop and maintain relational and non-relational databases ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Server-Side Logic: Write clean, efficient, and scalable server-side code using Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Security & Compliance: Implement authentication, authorization, and data protection best practices.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize server performance and troubleshoot bottlenecks.
• Collaboration: Work closely with front-end developers, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Documentation & Testing: Maintain clear documentation and write unit/integration tests to ensure code reliability.

Technical Skills Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in back-end development.
• Proficiency in server-side languages (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with API design and integration.
• Understanding of Git and version control workflows.
• Knowledge of security best practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with microservices architecture.
• Understanding of event-driven systems.

Location & Schedule

• Location: Hybrid – Guadalajara, Jalisco (3 days on-site at NTT Data offices, Av. Mariano Otero 1249).
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
• Candidates must reside in Guadalajara or nearby areas (Zapopan, Tlaquepaque, etc.).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Fluent in English (Advanced) C1 - C2
• Excellent communication, teamwork, commitment, and a proactive attitude
