As an Account Manager for Molecular Spectroscopy at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., you have the remarkable chance to create a real-world impact. The Vibrational Spectroscopy business includes FTIR, NIR and Raman spectroscopy from entry level table-top instruments, production process supervising equipment to highly sophisticated R&D and microscopy solutions.

Your Responsibilities :

• Represent our company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with Thermo Fisher Scientific customers, both external and internal.
• Conduct and support product presentations at customer sites, Thermo Fisher labs, or online.
• Actively handle your funnel of sales opportunities by CRM compliance and sales forecast calls.
• Be responsible for the sales process from pre- to after-sales support and build strong, long-term relationships with your customers.
• Participate in trade fairs and coordinate workshops, seminars, and related events.
• Report market trends and customer requirements into the organization.

Your Qualification :

• Bachelor or university degree in chemistry, physics, or related field.
• Working experience in industrial B2B field sales is helpful.
• Alternatively, working experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industry or laboratory equipment business.
• Additional experience with SFDC is an asset.
• Knowledge in Vibrational Spectroscopy.
• Excellent interpersonal communication, both written and oral.
• Proficient in German and business English; proficiency in French and / or Italian is an asset.
• Customer focus, intercultural competence, and a professional demeanor.
• Pro-active attitude and hands-on mentality.
• Willingness to travel in the region, approximately 50% of the time.
• Valid driver's license.
