The most important characteristic of our Onsite Service Engineer Level 1’s is the continuous development of knowledge and technical skills to ensure customer satisfaction and great teamwork. Field service engineers enjoy taking on challenges and finding solutions. You will remain cool under pressure, and if you don’t know the answer, you’ll use our processes, systems, and network to find it. You take ownership of creating high-quality work. You will be expected to deliver frontline support in key operational activities, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Edwards products, with a focus on safety and quality while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. Working in a fast-paced and demanding environment, a resilient mindset is essential for this role, which offers an opportunity to learn and develop your engineering skills by working on exciting and highly technical equipment.
The mission and purpose of the Onsite Service Engineer is to provide best in class technical support to customers for semiconductor products to ensure system and product safety, uptime, and availability in support for our customers productivity to improve their satisfaction.
The Field Service Engineer accomplishes this mission by performing complex customer support activities including but not limited to installation, modification, repair and preventive maintenance tasks of Edwards Vacuum- and Abatement equipment and systems to ensure proper working order.
