A major global insurance organization is seeking a candidate for their Human Capital Cost Control, Data and Operations team in Milan. The role involves managing workforce data reporting activities and supporting the development of HR analytics tools, such as PowerBI dashboards. Ideal applicants will have a degree in Economics or Engineering, strong data analysis skills, and proficiency in MS Excel. Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Italian is a plus.

The candidate joining the Human Capital Cost Control, Data and Operations will supporttheteamin:

• Manage the monitoring and reporting of workforce data
• Perform data gathering, cleansing, reconciliation and analysis to provide HR managers with an updated view on workforce status and evolution
• Proactively design and propose ways to standardize, streamline and automate workforce data collection
• Manage all the workforce‑related reporting activities to Generali’s Group Head Office and other Generali Investments stakeholders (Finance, Operations, etc.)
• Support the development of PowerBI dashboards and other HR analytics tools
• Process ad‑hoc HR‑related requests and perform analyses for a variety of stakeholders within the Business Unit
• Support in the management, planning & control of compensation costs across GIH entities (over 500m€)

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:

• Degree in Economics, Engineering or similar
• Ability to analyze and present data in a clear and impactful way
• Proficiency in MS Excel
• Feeling for numbers, ability to process data to drive business outcomes
• Attention to details and ability to identify and solve problems
• Fluency in English
• Fluency in Italian is nice‑to‑have but not mandatory
