Description

Hitachi Rail is looking for an enthusiastic self‑motivated Wayside & On Board Engineer who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. The successful candidate is comfortable performing a wide variety of tasks from administrative to strategic. The position is based in Piossasco, (TO).

Accountabilities
  • Field Service work focuses on providing technical advice and problem resolution to customers, over the phone and on site, with ticket management.
  • Good familiarity with Windows and Linux computers, complex data networks.
  • Good skills in electronics and electrical engineering with the use of measurement instruments, multimeters and oscilloscopes.
  • Contributes to customer satisfaction by executing service work according to customer order and expectation.
  • Maintains a good relationship with customers and living core values of safety and integrity.
  • Available to travel on business, work in even on holidays and available on call shifts.
Languages

Good English proficiency.
