About the Role

As a UX Designer at Oversonic, you will work closely with the design, product, and development teams to design intuitive and inclusive digital experiences, with a primary focus on the interfaces of our cognitive platform. Your role will be central in shaping how users interact with advanced robotic technologies, ensuring that complex cognitive functions are translated into clear, accessible, and meaningful user journeys. By analyzing requirements, gathering data, and defining technical specifications, you will contribute to building a platform that makes human‑robot interaction natural and effective, aligned with our mission to create robotic technologies that improve people’s lives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct preliminary analysis and collect qualitative and quantitative data on users, usage contexts and robot’s activity.
  • Define technical specifications and functional requirements for interfaces and interaction flows.
  • Design information architectures and user journeys consistent with product objectives.
  • Create wireframes, prototypes, and low‑fidelity mockups using Figma.
  • Validate solutions through usability testing and feedback sessions with users, stakeholders, and internal application engineers.
  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure proper implementation of specifications.
  • Document guidelines and design systems to ensure visual and functional consistency.
  • Monitor usage metrics and gather insights to continuously improve the user experience.
Requirements
  • Degree in Design, Human‑Computer Interaction or related fields.
  • Proven experience (+3 years) as a UX Designer or Interaction Designer.
  • Visual culture and graphic sensitivity, with attention to digital communication.
  • Advanced proficiency in Figma and, in general, design and prototyping tools.
  • Solid knowledge of usability, accessibility, and human‑centered design principles.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and collaboration in multidisciplinary teams.
  • Communication and presentation skills.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem‑solving orientation.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in motion design or micro‑interactions.
  • Knowledge of cognitive psychology principles applied to design.
  • Ability to conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and product metrics.
  • Familiarity with micro‑copy and textual aspects of UI, including messages, notifications, and alerts.
