Gorgonzola hosts Navigations Air Systems (NAS) domain. The activity of NAS domain : avionics navigation and radar systems for civil air traffic and technologies supporting the activities of civilian and military pilots ATC controllers and technicians of several airlines air traffic control agencies and Air Force around the world. Italy is the Groups Competence center for the design production and delivery of Navigation Aids products and Competence Centre for the delivery of non-Radar Surveillance Products.

Objective

As part of the Customer Service department reporting directly to the I&C and Training Manager and working closely with his team after the necessary internal training period the resource will mainly be responsible for conducting theoretical / practical training courses for customers to whom they will transfer the technical knowledge necessary to enable them to operate and maintain the systems produced and supplied by the company such as electronic radio navigation and instrument landing equipment including the related antenna and remote control systems.

The activities assigned to the resource will mainly take place in training rooms within the company and in some cases also on site in Italy and abroad at customer installation sites where NAVAIDS and NRS systems are located mainly civil and military airports or at other customer or company sites. Courses will be held mainly in English for foreign customers unless the resource is able to deliver them in their native language or in Italian where applicable.

Detailed job description and responsibilities
  • Conduct training activities for customers on the systems marketed by the company in accordance with the established methods and timelines following the guidelines received
  • Delivers the training to the students according to the training plan (TP) and syllabus that will be properly released for dedicated projects according to the customer technical specification
  • When applicable helps the students prepare for a certification exam.
  • Interacts with Customers / students and other actors to ensure Customer satisfaction
  • organizes feedback loops with trainees and Customers;
  • continuously improves training sessions Provides guidance to the training content definition and may be involved in the content definition itself Ensures standards procedures / practices and controls are being followed Manage and coordinate external resources when internal ones are unavailable or overbooked
  • Maintenance of training equipment / simulators and responsible of training test equipment calibrations.
Required qualification and skills
  • Qualifications : high school preferably in electronics / telecommunications
  • Previous experience in managing customer training and / or radio frequency-related training
  • Strong communication skills
Years of experience
  • up to 35 preferably in areas related to the activities described above.
  • English language
  • fluent in writing and speech Knowledge of French / German / Spanish / Portuguese / Arabic or other languages is considered a plus
  • Good knowledge of RF- / Analog- / Digital- and IT-Technologies
  • Safe handling of PC tools such as Excel Word etc
