A precision engineering firm located in Tuscany, Italy, is seeking a skilled engineer specializing in Press Tool Design. The role involves designing and testing sheet metal press tools and ensuring compliance with IATF 16949 standards. Candidates should have solid experience with GD&T, knowledge of spring steel materials, and proficiency in AutoCAD. Experience with SolidWorks is an advantage. This position offers a dynamic environment for engineering professionals committed to precision tooling.

Competenze

• Experience in Press Tool Design (Progressive, Compound, Coining, etc.).
• Knowledge of GD&T and Jigs & Fixtures.
• Familiarity with Spring Steel Materials.

Mansioni

• Design and trial of sheet metal press tools.
• Involvement in manufacturing process design and process validations.
• Document design according to IATF 16949.

Responsibilities

• Sheet Metal Press Tool Design & Trials.
• Mftg process design knowledge & Process Validations exposure of Precision stampings parts
• Exposure to validation & testing of Precision Stamping Parts.
• Design documentation as per IATF 16949.

Required Candidate profile

• Press Tool Design(Progressive, Compound, Coining etc.)
• GD&T knowledge
• Jigs & Fixture Design
• Knowledge of Spring Steel Materials
• Auto CAD is must, SolidWorks added advantage
