We are looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer to join our R&D team as responsible for developing and maintaining the firmware packages to be used during product manufacturing and certification. You will be a key asset in contributing to the improvement of Arduino ecosystem.

What you\'ll work on

• Design, develop, code, test, debug and document embedded software (C++, C).
• Maintain and improve existing code.
• Write application level firmware based on company technology.
• Write and thoroughly document userspace applications to ease the testing phase of our products.
• Coordinate with core firmware teams, quality and external labs to achieve a streamlined testing phase.

What you bring

• 5 years experience in Firmware and libraries development (C, C++).
• Experience with JTAG and other debugging tools (gdb / valgrind).
• Extensive experience of Hardware debugging.
• Testing frameworks for embedded code.
• Certifications and RF instrumentation.
• Fluent in English both verbal and written is mandatory.

Bonus Points

• Knowledge of the Arduino ecosystem.
• Experience with Zephyr.
• Experience with Golang and / or Python.
• Knowledge of IoT Protocols (MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, TCP, UDP, AMQP) and Github.
• Broad knowledge of git flow.
• Jira issue tracking is a plus.
