Job Description

As a Technology Architect you will be a subject matter expert for the Power Control product range, supporting all EMEA technical resources with complex requests within this technology stream.

You will be the “go to” person for all in‑depth product related queries. These queries will occur both pre‑ and post‑sales. You will support the Power Control product range within its architecture. This support will start from pre‑launch (NPI) and continue all through its entire lifecycle.

You will report to the Technology Architect Manager, and have a hybrid working schedule.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide subject matter expertise to sellers, Domain Experts and other technical roles in opportunity pursuits or complex projects with customers and take lead if beneficial.
  • Co‑operate with the sales team in promoting new products or technologies to customers with presentations, demonstrations, proof of concepts, performance test or similar activities expressing outcome‑based messaging and assure confidence.
  • In collaboration with business leads, drive all technology related activities around introducing a new product or technology into the market; includes leading the early adopter program and supporting the technical community with new domain expertise.
  • Be the regional escalation path for Tech Support and Field Service on post‑sales product or application issues, working with customer quality on issue resolution.
  • Promote technical enablement through creation of collateral like Master Classes, development of tools and execution of product update calls.
  • Support EMEA‑based events, focused on the role‑based activities as Subject Matter Expert.
  • Collaborate on global / regional level with peers, driving the value of the assigned portfolio.
The Essentials - You Will Have
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in Power Control range of products / applications
  • Experience communicating product benefits appropriate for each prospect
  • Experience investigating and presenting advanced application solutions
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%
The Preferred - You Might Also Have
  • Experience leading pre- and post-sale projects of advanced scope and complexity
  • Understanding of wide range of industrial automation product applications (including techniques, requirements)
