Una società di consulenza ingegneristica è alla ricerca di un Coordinatore della Sicurezza Tecnica a Roma, per supervisionare le attività di ingegneria della sicurezza nei progetti. I candidati devono possedere una laurea in ingegneria e almeno 10 anni di esperienza, con un minimo di 5 anni in progetti offshore. La posizione richiede un'eccellente conoscenza dell'inglese e competenze su strumenti di analisi della sicurezza. Offriamo un ambiente di lavoro stimolante e opportunità di crescita professionale.

Report to Project Manager / HSE Manager, the Technical Safety Coordinator is responsible for coordinating all safety engineering and technical safety activities during the design, construction, installation, and operation phases of the projects. The role ensures compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company HSE policies, while managing risk assessments, safety reviews, and design safety integration.

Key Responsibilities
Safety Engineering & Design Review

Coordinate and review safety studies (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, LOPA, QRA, Fire & Explosion Analysis, Escape & Evacuation studies).

Ensure safety considerations are incorporated in engineering design (layout, process systems, escape routes, fire & gas detection, ESD).

Verify compliance with international codes and standards (API, ISO, IEC, NFPA, IMO, OGP, OSHA).

Review and approve safety engineering deliverables from EPC contractors and vendors.

Coordination & Interface

Act as focal point between project team, EPC / EPIC contractor, client, classification societies, and regulatory authorities for technical safety matters.

Ensure close coordination between engineering disciplines to address safety issues.

Support construction and offshore operations teams with technical safety advice.

Ensure cost effective integration between different packages / contractors and between surface and subsurface activities.

Ensure technical integrity of the interface.

Risk & Safety Management

Maintain the project risk register and track closure of safety-related actions.

Coordinate formal safety assessments (FSA) and ensure follow-up.

Ensure implementation of Safety Case requirements for offshore assets.

Lead and document safety workshops and reviews.

Project Execution Support

Support preparation of Safety Philosophies (Fire & Explosion, ESD, F&G, Safety Critical Elements).

Monitor contractor / subcontractor compliance with safety design and project HSE plan.

Participate in constructability and SIMOPS reviews.

Ensure technical safety deliverables are completed for project handover and regulatory approval.

Project Safety Philosophies & Safety Concept Documents.

Safety Studies & Reports (HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, QRA, FERA, EERA, ESSA, CFD).

Fire & Gas detection layouts, ESD logic diagrams, escape route drawings.

Risk register and hazard tracking system.

Safety case submissions to regulators.

Technical safety input to design reviews, project execution plans, SIMOPS documents.

Technical Skills

Strong knowledge of offshore safety engineering, hazard analysis, risk assessment, and safety management systems.

Familiarity with industry codes and standards (API, IEC 61511, ISO 13702, NFPA, IMO MODU Code, OGP).

Proficiency in safety analysis tools (PHAST, FLACS, FRED, PIPESIM, or equivalent).

Knowledge of SIMOPS, marine operations, and emergency response.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Engineering from an accredited university.

Work experience of ten (10) years in the sought discipline after earning the BSc degree.

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of offshore experience in total, with at least the last 35 years spent on offshore projects.

Excellent spoken and written English including proven ability to write specifications and reports.
