We’re looking for a charismatic and driven Team Leader - Mechanical Engineering to join our passionate team in Milan and lead the development of next-generation elevator components with excellence, vision, and impact.

Your Role

Take the lead of a high-performing product development team and drive the creation of innovative elevator components that shape the future of mobility. As Team Leader - Mechanical Engineering, you’ll hold technical responsibility for released products together with the Technical Leader and Department Head.

Your key responsibilities include
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in operational and organizational activities as needed.
  • Leading and developing the engineering team, enabling them to fulfill their roles efficiently and supporting the resolution of technical and organizational challenges.
  • Assist in planning team workload and help allocate resources to Technical Leaders across multiple projects.
  • Support the definition of team objectives and contribute to performance review preparation and skill development initiatives.
  • Ensuring that all products assigned to the team are released according to defined scope, quality, and timelines.
  • Contribute to improving management frameworks and processes to enhance efficiency across global teams.
  • Provide assistance in planning, budgeting, and controlling activities in collaboration with the department head.
  • Networking with key stakeholders to understand their needs and manage expectations effectively.
  • Driving the adoption of state-of-the-art development practices, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitating collaboration across sections, departments, and international locations, and promoting know-how transfer.
What You Bring to the Table

Ideally, you have
  • A solid foundation in engineering—supported by academic studies or equivalent hands‑on experience—that enables you to guide complex technical work.
  • Strong practical expertise in mechanical design and elevator components.
  • Proficiency in CREO and related tools for 3D modeling and design.
  • Experience in leading teams and managing projects with clarity and purpose.
  • A confident command of English for global collaboration; knowledge of German is a valuable asset.
  • A charismatic and mature presence that energizes teams and drives results.
  • Willingness to travel and take ownership of international initiatives.
  • A mindset focused on growth, impact, and continuous improvement.
