Role Summary and Impact
As a Talent Acquisition Partner at WPP Media, you will play a crucial role in attracting, engaging, and securing top‑tier talent for our dynamic teams. Leveraging recruitment technology and innovative talent attraction strategies, you will work closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and build robust talent pipelines, particularly for Digital and Market‑Specific roles. Your direct contribution will be vital in ensuring the quality of hires, enhancing the candidate experience, and ultimately contributing to the continued success and growth of WPP Media.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute full‑cycle recruitment processes, from initial sourcing and candidate outreach to offer management and onboarding support, for a diverse range of roles within the digital, media, marketing, data, and advertising landscape.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand specific talent needs, provide market insights, and advise on effective recruitment strategies.
- Develop and implement innovative talent attraction strategies, utilizing LinkedIn Recruiter and other social recruiting platforms to identify and engage high‑caliber candidates.
- Actively contribute to the enhancement of the candidate experience, ensuring a positive and professional journey for all applicants.
- Participate in talent acquisition projects, which may include talent pipelining for niche roles, supporting internal mobility programs, and contributing to process improvements aimed at optimizing recruitment efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized recruitment data, demonstrating strong attention to detail and the ability to identify patterns, trends, and relationships that can provide actionable insights.
- Stay abreast of digital and industry trends, understanding their impact on talent acquisition and our business, and proactively identifying new ways to attract top talent.
- Foster a collaborative mindset, working as a strong team player within the People function and across the wider business.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a recruiter for Digital & Market‑Specific Roles. Experience within the Media & Marketing industry is a significant advantage.
- Proficiency in using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) for job posting, resume screening, interview scheduling, and candidate tracking. Experience with Greenhouse is a significant plus.
- Proven ability to proactively identify and attract talented candidates in a complex and challenging market. Skilled with LinkedIn Recruiter; familiarity with other recruiting social platforms is a plus.
- Proven ability to establish strong working relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders, building rapport to become a trusted advisor and deliver exceptional talent and valuable recruitment solutions.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze situations, identify goals, and develop plans to achieve them, often by anticipating challenges and opportunities.
- Possesses an Agile Mindset, prioritizing flexibility, collaboration, and continuous improvement to adapt to change and navigate complexity. Capable of managing multiple initiatives, prioritizing tasks, ensuring adherence to deadlines, and coordinating with various stakeholders, while embracing an organized and results‑driven approach.
- A data‑driven approach, making strategic decisions based on thorough data analysis and interpretation. Ability to utilize predictive analytics models to forecast future talent needs and optimize recruitment strategies accordingly.
- Embraces leveraging data and technology, especially AI tools, to enhance recruitment processes and foster digital transformation.
- Actively seeks new knowledge and professional growth, demonstrating curiosity and openness to embracing new ideas, approaches, and diverse perspectives. Stays informed on innovative recruiting trends and best practices.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey messages clearly and influence stakeholders. Builds strong, collaborative relationships and fosters an inclusive environment, working effectively as a team player.
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Excel and PowerPoint are essential).
