The company's Research Center in Pisa plays a central role within the Group, focusing on researching new technologies and applications in the field of digital power and electric vehicle.

Position Details

• Title: System Engineer for Model-Based Development IDE
• Location: Pisa, Italy (on‑site)
• Contract: Permanent (via Randstad Italia SpA)
• Salary: Approx. €60,000 – €80,000 gross/year (commensurate with experience)
• Language requirement: Proficiency in English is essential
• Knowledge of Java programming language is essential
• Experience: 3–5 years in object‑oriented programming

Responsibilities

As a System Engineer, you will design and develop tools for simulation, code generation, and optimization for the Center's areas of expertise. You will join a dynamic and highly collaborative team of experts and PhDs passionate about research projects and innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively contribute to the development of proprietary Model‑Based Design tools, including:
  • Code generation
  • Optimization
  • Simulation
  • Integration with Artificial Intelligence (AI)

Qualifications

• Education: M.Sc. in Engineering (Ph.D. preferred)
• Experience: 3–5 years of object‑oriented programming
• Programming Language Skills:
  • Java – excellent level
  • Python – good level
• Model‑Driven Engineering: Experience in MDE, including model‑to‑text, text‑to‑model, and model‑to‑model transformations
• Artificial Intelligence (AI):
  • Experience building efficient AI infrastructures and improving AI model efficiency
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, CUDA, PyTorch, MindSpore) and Large‑Language Models (LLM); integration of AI technologies into products
• Testing: Experience defining and executing unit tests and test automation scripts
