Core Responsibilities :

• Systems Monitoring and Maintenance : Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of IT systems, ensuring their optimal performance and availability.
• Incident Management : Manage and respond to IT incidents promptly, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.
• Infrastructure Management : Maintain and administer IT infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and storage systems to support business operations effectively.
• Security Compliance : Ensure compliance with security policies and standards by implementing security controls, conducting audits, and addressing vulnerabilities.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing : Create and maintain documentation for IT systems and processes, facilitating knowledge sharing among team members and stakeholders.
• Drive Innovation : Discover, evaluate, and implement new services to ensure continuous innovation and improvement.
• Plan and Execute System Upgrades and Migrations : Assess the IT infrastructure, create a plan, perform backups, test, implement changes, monitor, and resolve issues.
• Follow and Support the Vendor for the Integration of New Systems : Collaborate with external vendors to ensure seamless integration of new systems into the existing IT infrastructure.

Must Have :

• Diploma in Information Technology or a related field.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Operating Systems : Experience in administering and troubleshooting operating systems such as Windows Server, Linux, and Unix. In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft operating system preferred.
• Network Administration : Knowledge of network protocols, configurations, and troubleshooting techniques, including TCP / IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. In-depth knowledge of Cisco switches and Cisco solutions preferred.
• Virtualization Technologies : Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and containerization platforms like Docker.
• IT Automation : Skills in scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Ansible) to streamline repetitive tasks and improve operational efficiency.
• Monitoring and Alerting Tools : Experience with monitoring and alerting tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus to proactively monitor system health and performance.

Nice to Have :

• Certifications :

Microsoft : Microsoft Certified : Windows Server Administrator (AZ-800), Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate.

• Knowledge of databases and data management (e.g., SQL, HANADB, Postgres).
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for container management and orchestration.
• Familiarity with storage solutions such as SAN (Storage Area Network), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and DAS (Direct Attached Storage).
• Experience in managing IT projects.
• Ability to resolve any issues during the project lifecycle.
