Overview

A directly reporting line to the Store Manager, the Supervisor, as an experienced sales assistant, provides support to the Store Management Team, contributing to improved customer service levels and the maintenance of company standards.

Responsibilities

• Sales / Commercial Skills: Performs activities related to opening and closing the store: merchandise presentation, team briefing, and displaying new articles on the appropriate wall in the sales area.
• Periodically monitors profitability through KPI tracking.
• Participates in sales activities and ensures an exemplary level of customer service.
• Handles customer complaints efficiently and courteously.

• Visual Merchandising: Ensures overall store presentation in collaboration with the Visual Merchandising team (where present): adherence to standards, stock rotation and product density, highlighting new products and price variations.

• Logistics / Loss Prevention / Cash Handling / Health and Safety: Holds the store keys and takes full responsibility for managing goods and staff entering and leaving the store.
• Actively participates in loss prevention and control in collaboration with the Profit Protection Manager through zoning, delivery checks, regular and extraordinary inventories.
• Performs cash opening and closing, ensuring daily cash register management in view of monthly administrative closure.
• Supervises cash receipts, handles returns and customer refunds.
• Contributes to maintaining a clean, healthy environment and, when needed, ensures cleaning of common areas and of the sales/warehouse area to support a safe and healthy working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in structured retail outlets, preferably in dynamic and multinational contexts;
• Good knowledge of the English language;
• Leadership and good relational and communication skills;
• Knowledge of the Office package (Outlook, Word and Excel).
