The Role and Candidate

We seek a confident Store Manager to lead our new store in Rome. Ideal candidates have retail or luxury fashion experience, excel at team building, and delivering excellent customer service. You will oversee the store launch, from recruitment to daily operations and sales, shaping the store culture from the start.

Responsibilities

  • Support the area manager in store strategy and operations
  • Manage all aspects of the store
  • Implement sales strategies to meet/exceed targets
  • Optimize merchandising and sales space
  • Manage stock levels and replenishment cycles
  • Maintain product and fashion knowledge
  • Apply visual merchandising standards
  • Ensure customer reception aligns with guidelines
  • Coordinate store activities (events, launches, campaigns)
  • Train and develop new staff
  • Promote effective team communication
  • Monitor team KPIs and performance
  • Analyze customer behavior KPIs
  • Achieve department budgets and targets
  • Follow company procedures and policies

Qualifications & Experience

  • Citizenship or work permit required
  • 5-8 years in similar roles (Assistant Store Manager, Supervisor, etc.) in retail or luxury fashion
  • Knowledge of trade KPIs, budget management, reporting
  • Agility, problem-solving skills
  • Results-oriented
  • Team management skills
  • Bachelor's or master's degree preferred
  • Fluent in Italian and English
  • Proficiency in Excel

Desirable (Not Essential)

  • Knowledge of CEGID
