Amazon Web Services is looking for a highly motivated Solutions Architect to help accelerate customer adoption. As a Solutions Architect at AWS you will work directly with customers. We are looking for individuals who are motivated by the opportunity to work backwards from these customers’ needs and help them gain a competitive edge using AWS. As an experienced technologist and key member of the Account team you will help influence customers’ architectural choices across broad use cases involving security, compute, storage networking as well as advanced scenarios involving serverless, analytics, and AI/ML.

In this role, you will provide exceptional technical design guidance and thought leadership, lead efforts to capture and share best‑practice knowledge with the AWS solution architect community, and gain the opportunity to learn from, collaborate with, and educate some of the brightest technical minds in the industry today across the breadth of enterprise architecture.

Key job responsibilities

• Shape and deliver a strategy to build mind share and broad use of Amazon Web Services within large enterprises.
• Own the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects.
• Work cross‑organizationally to facilitate widespread use and adoption of the AWS platform.
• Develop deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know‑how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform.
• Represent AWS well within the customer’s environment and drive discussions with senior personnel regarding trade‑offs, best practices, and risk mitigation.
• Think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges.

Basic Qualifications

• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• 6+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
• 6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries.
• 2+ years of design and implementation of AI/ML/GenAI related technologies and solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a technical role within a sales organization.
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
• Energy Industry Experience (including Energy Manufacturing, Products & Services, Oil & Gas, Power & Utilities).

Base salary range: Colorado $153,600 - $207,800 annually; National $138,200 - $239,000 annually. The package includes sign‑on payments and RSUs.
