A leading technology company in the field of satellite communications is seeking a PIT RF Engineer to develop test setups for their Low Earth Orbit initiative. The role requires extensive experience in RF design and various satellite systems. The candidate will work closely with engineering teams and must have a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Amazon LEO is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.
As a PIT RF Engineer, you will be responsible for the development of various electronic hardware test‑setups in the Payload Integration and Test lab as well as in the field. You will work closely with engineering teams in the specification / design of these test‑setups and the build / procurement of test equipment for Amazon LEO prototype payload hardware. This is very much a hands‑on role, and a successful candidate will have extensive experience in supporting the full development cycles of RF, communications, and space hardware through development, prototyping, and qualification procedures. You must be responsive, flexible, and able to succeed within a collaborative and fast‑paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
