Overview

Role and Responsibilities
  • Supporting the Square Lover in overseeing all departments: Reception / Bar, Kitchen, Housekeeping, and Maintenance
  • Being a daily point of reference for team members—ensuring tasks are clear, spirits are high, and operations run smoothly
  • Monitoring service standards, helping resolve guest issues, and ensuring the Square vibe is always alive
  • Coordinating shifts, schedules, and workflows to keep everything moving
  • Assisting with admin tasks, reporting, inventory, and compliance with local regulations
Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in hospitality, with at least 2 in a supervisory or assistant manager role
  • Strong team coordination and communication skills
  • Fluency in English & Italian
  • A knack for problem-solving and staying cool under pressure
  • A people-first mindset with an eye for guest experience and team wellbeing
  • Comfort with digital tools, booking systems, and hospitality tech
  • Previous hostel experience is a big bonus
