Position

Within the Integration team, the selected candidate will be responsible for the operational management of mission-critical systems, with a specific focus on the Integration area.

The ideal candidate is an experienced Linux systems administrator with skills in managing middleware components and internally developed custom applications.

The role involves close collaboration with other infrastructure systems administrators and ongoing interaction with development and security teams to ensure stability, performance, and continuity of integration application services. The candidate should have solid technical experience, be autonomous in managing complex environments, and actively contribute to infrastructural decisions and problem resolution.

Additionally, the candidate will participate in continuous improvement activities aimed at increasing operational efficiency, reducing incident risks, and ensuring compliance with company quality and security standards.

Main Activities

  • Installation, configuration, and management of Tibco BusinessWorks, EMS, and Hawk environments.
  • Managing system requirements and configuring connections to databases, queues, and external services.
  • Monitoring performance and analyzing logs, troubleshooting to identify and resolve anomalies.
  • Configuring application security: managing access, digital certificates, and best practices.
  • Operational management of integration flows: monitoring and supporting batch executions, jobs, ETL processes, and scheduled services.
  • Deploying applications and verifying end-to-end functionality of flows and integrations.
  • Supporting the definition and maintenance of custom release pipelines or related tools.
  • Planning and executing updates, patches, and maintenance activities (corrective and evolutionary).
  • Collaborating with development teams to support testing and development environments.
  • Learning and managing custom applications in Linux environments.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of Linux OS, with experience in administration and daily management.
  • Practical experience with managing Tibco BusinessWorks, EMS, and Hawk environments.
  • Knowledge of networking and communication protocols (e.g., JMS, HTTP/S, sFTP).
  • Familiarity with Tibco BusinessWorks and EMS in containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Troubleshooting skills for complex, distributed middleware architectures.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools, log analysis, and operational diagnostics.
  • Experience in IT security management, including permissions, digital certificates, and hardening activities.
  • Ability to plan and execute updates and patching in structured environments.
  • Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Previous experience in structured enterprise environments (e.g., banking, insurance, telecommunications).

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of other messaging products in the Tibco suite (e.g., FTL, RV, eFTL, Kafka, Pulsar).
  • Experience developing solutions in Tibco BusinessWorks.
  • Technical certifications in Tibco and/or Linux.

Location: Milan (alternating presence in the office and smart working).
